I didn’t come to the lake looking for the lake.
In fact at first I didn’t come to the lake at all.
Instead I started on dry land
At the place where City Creek folds into a U
And the hills go up and up

A meditation on mass extinction created by scraping Twitter for conversations about climate grief and biodiversity loss. Each poem is unique to each visitors and lasts for 200 seconds — the same number (on the low end) of species that go extinct every year.
